Learn to coach striking and hold pads


Join us for 2 days of striking and pad holding with Rob McCullough,

Learn from Razor Rob, better known as Rob McCullough, who is an American former Muay Thai kickboxer and professional mixed martial artist. A professional from 2001-2011 in MMA, McCullough has formerly competed for the WEC, Bellator, DREAM, the World Fighting Alliance, the Palace Fighting Championship, and King of the Cage. In professional kickboxing, McCullough has competed for K-1.

Day 1 will be focused on Focus Mitts Do/Don’ts, stance and style, warm up drills, combos, footwork, teach backs and timed test out.

Day 2 will be focused on thai pads and kick shields

Certification Dates: Oct 21-22, 2023. 9-4pm.

Course Fee: All participants must have their own hand wraps (180 inch velcro hand wraps) and boxing gloves (NOT MMA gloves and can be any size).

McCullough has been teaching martial arts since 1996. He was the first striking coach to Hall of Fame Champion UFC fighter Tito Ortiz, as well as UFC Heavyweight Champion Ricco Rodriguez. 

McCullough was striking coach on the reality tv show TUF (The Ultimate Fighter) on seasons 11 Ortiz and 14 Bisping. 

McCullough has been running a successful MMA fitness gym (Huntington Beach Ultimate Training Center) since 2001.

McCullough was the Global Master Instructor for both LA Boxing & UFC GYM from 2011-2020 where he launched and successfully opened hundreds of new gyms in five different continents across the globe. In his travels he taught and certified coaches in group classes, personal training, sales, and service.

Razor Striking System is based out of HBUTC in which McCullough is founder and head instructor.
