JOSH RUSSEL

JOSH RUSSEL

Lead Instructor

Josh was active from an early age, playing just about every sport he could find. His experiences as an athlete in lacrosse, football and rugby helped him develop as a leader and it was a natural progression to become a personal trainer. Josh also credits his experience coaching minor league football in White Rock where he helped a 36-player team develop strength, discipline and maturity over 4 years. Upon becoming a personal trainer, Josh showed a natural understanding of the business and developed long lasting relationships with clients and coworkers alike. He achieved certifications in NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist, Bulgarian Bag, Kettlebell and Trigger Point Multi Tool Mobility. The skills he developed quickly transitioned him into a Fitness Manager role where he was able to coach, develop and inspire members and trainers on a daily basis as a club leader. Now, working with the education team for BCPTI, Josh is able to bring his experience and passion to a whole new generation of trainers while continuing to make an impact in his club and community with exceptional group and one-on-one training.
